World Cruise
Cunard's
legendary QE2 (70,000 gross tonage) set sails for a 106-night world cruise
from New York on January 5, 2003. She sails from New York to Ft. Lauderdale,
through the Panama Canal to Valparaiso, Chile; trans Pacific calling at
Easter Island, Pitcairn Island, Papeete, Moorea, Rarotaonga, Auckland,
Bay of Islands, Melbourne, Sydney, Bristane, Yorkey's Knob and Darwin;
on to ports in Japan, China Honk Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Sri Lanka,
Kenya, South Africa, Namibia, The Canary Islands, Madeira, Southampton,
England before crossing the Atlantic to New York (April 23). The world
